T-Mobile’s pricing for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, until now, was for unlocked units only. It makes more sense that they meant the new devices were all priced around $500 or more. T-Mobile clarified all of that on Friday when it introduced its “Uncarrier” plans for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.
T-Mobile will sell the iPhone 5s starting at $99 down with 24 monthly payments of $22.91. That’s only for the 16GB model, however, so higher capacities will likely cost more. The iPhone 5c, meanwhile, will be available for free but with 24 monthly payments of $22. That, too, is for the 16GB model.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 5c started today, and T-Mobile will begin selling the iPhone 5s on Sept. 20, among other carriers and third parties.
